I've been using this webcam for a week. So far, it works well. I like it.
I have a low-end Toshiba laptop which doesn't have a built-in cam. I wanted a basic webcam for Skype and Windows Live Video calling. I don't need fancy features like HD or auto-focusing. It's a webcam. This VX-2000 does all that I expected for its price.
Installation was easy. Works right out of the box for my Windows 7 PC. The cam can sit on top of the screen with the clip thing. The internal mic works without extra settings as well.
I'd like to mention the software that came with the webcam. It's actually pretty fun. You can distort the picture, add decorations real-time. The software detects your face and tries to fit the decorations at the right place. I think it's fun to use. :)
