This camera works very well with Skype. The Microsoft button on the top is a bit of a nuisance; I keep hitting it accidentally when adjusting the camera, and it wants to launch another program. The sound is very good; the picture is good, too, though the quality varies depending (I think) on the amount of Skype traffic at the time.
