This camera works very well with Skype. The Microsoft button on the top is a bit of a nuisance; I keep hitting it accidentally when adjusting the camera, and it wants to launch another program. The sound is very good; the picture is good, too, though the quality varies depending (I think) on the amount of Skype traffic at the time.

The "Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000" is a great little webcam that installs fairly quickly (on my Vista PC) and provides good video and audio quality.

This webcam was very easy to install and setup, taking less than a half hour so before I was able to make my first test shots. The automatic recognition by Windows Live Messenger was great and did not require any additional settings.

The video quality is good for web and video chatting, but I wouldn't use it for taking photos that are to be printed. The audio is also good for video chatting, but not much else.

This is a good solid webcam that performs better than expected!

I have been using this webcam for almost a year now and it is great. The two pack is a great value for only more. Setup and use is a breeze. The mic is good. The picture quality is pretty good as well, but for the price, I haven't seen anything that compares.
